What I Learned From Going Wild For a Month to Start 2023

I like challenging myself to do new things — or at least I tell myself that I do. People are adverse to change or challenge, so we create little programs to push ourselves out of our comfort zones. Because that’s where we grow and get better.

In late 2022, a friend of mine invited me to join a new challenge he was helping to organize. It’s called the Wild 32. Since I don’t have enough going on in my life (that’s sarcasm), I eagerly joined him to participate (not sarcasm).

Here’s what the Wild 32 is, how you can do it, and what I learned from the experience.

  • Exercise for 32 minutes
  • Spend 10 minutes in silence or meditation
  • Read something encouraging for 10 minutes
