3 Reasons Why You Should Share Your Big Ideas Publically
Everyone has ideas. These ideas come almost daily, if not more often. The ideas come to us in the shower, on the toilet, in our dreams, while driving in the car, or during important business meetings.
These are ideas about businesses, jokes, books, band names, and everything in between. Those ideas include the occasional million-dollar ideas, the more frequent thousand-dollar ideas, and the mostly useless two-dollar ideas.
But what do people do with these ideas? Some people are diligent enough to write them down in a notebook or on random scraps of paper. Some do the same thing, but digitized; they take notes in Evernote or a similar app.
Most people probably just forget about these ideas. They’re momentarily inspired, but then go right back to showering, or dreaming, or running that important budget meeting. In those cases, their ideas are lost to time and will never become anything more than just an idea.

One of my buddies, Evan Chasteen, has a page on his website where he shares his big ideas. He’s a serial entrepreneur (and a pretty good one at that), so most of his ideas are for businesses.
