2021: What I Accomplished During (Another) Year of Pandemic

Yep — another year under the (decreasing?) shadow of the pandemic. We’re all tired of it, but COVID is still the elephant in the room that’s sitting on our collective shoulders.

But that doesn’t mean 2021 was all bad. It’s important to remind ourselves of the good things that happened to us. This has been a practice that I started long before 2021, but that’s helped to keep me grounded. So here are some of the things that kept me busy over the last 365 days.

Celebrated a year of a new job

After making a job transition during October 2020, I officially celebrated one year at GreenMellen earlier this year. It’s been a fantastic experience working for this local marketing company. Especially since it’s allowed me to grow my skills and help out other small businesses.

  • We were named one of the top local small businesses by our Chamber of Commerce — and I had the honor of writing the application on the company’s behalf.
  • We hired a marketing coordinator to help me manage our clients’ social media efforts.
  • We re-launched a podcast hosted by myself and one of our founding partners.
  • I successfully referred two new clients back to the business and now work closely helping those…
